The new light of myanmar
I brought this newspaper back from Myanmar and thought it might be interesting for people to read and see the strange mix of parochial and international issues chosen to distract from the domestic issues.
It's remarkably lightweight for a national newspaper, although is it any worse than the Metro?
If you only look at one page, read the last one.
The headlines on there give an insight into the paranoia of the regime.

We'll be posting some brief thoughts about each place we visited over the coming weeks.
